We had a container and a measuring cup, the measuring cup had salt in it. The big container had cold water and 2 pieces of ice in it. Our teacher gave us 1 piece of string and we put the string on top of the ice. And we put a little bit of salt each time on top of the ice and string. The salt was a little sticky once we put it on the ice. We let it settle. Then after it settled for 10 seconds we lifted the string and the ice and the salt was stuck. It looked like an ice necklace. The salt was sticking the ice to the string. It stayed stuck together for about 5 seconds.
